Washes
Washes is a guitar and synth music project from Seattle producer Michael Wiegand started in May 2016.
The idea was to create and publish works on the same day, unconcerned about whether they fit the mold of a "song" or not.
The work started as strictly guitar loops but grew to incorporate drum machines, soft synths, and now, modular synths.
Recently, Michael collaborated with his brother and multi-instrumentalist, Jeff Wiegand, on a series of self-released records available on all streaming services.
He’s also started offering mixing and mastering for other independent artists looking to release new material.
